The brewery features a tapas-style menu designed by Mandoon Estate’s executive chef Michael Hartnell, who works with the brewers to ensure the food and brews are mutually complementary. Beer tragics will be interested to learn that Homestead Brewery is the only one of its kind in Australia, being fitted out with German-manufactured Schulz brewing equipment.

Mandoon Estate is the only Swan Valley winery that is an invited member of Ultimate Winery Experiences of Australia and is a James Halliday red five star rated winery. Home to a 32 room boutique hotel, a craft brewery, fine dining restaurant, beer garden with kids’ playground, cellar door, function centre, art gallery and exceptional winery, there is sure to be something here to suit you.

With a funky, mouth-watering selection of ciders ranging from real fruit infused ciders (passionfruit, mango, coconut), to wild ferments, to barrel-aged ciders, you’re guaranteed to find one you’ll fall in love with. Kids and dogs are welcome, with tables provided on the big verandah outside, or out on a big, grassy lawn under the shade of a lemon gum tree.

A fresh, contemporary offering comprised of shared plates ranging from bread, olives, seafood and meat grazing boards to larger comfort dishes such as fresh pizzas and burgers to help satisfy the taste buds. The range of spirits – including whisky, gin, vodka and liqueurs – is available for tasting and a cocktail menu will span favourites, balanced with innovative, new, flavour-rich creations. With indoor and outdoor dining spaces and extensive grounds to explore.

Oakover Grounds lies in the heart of the Swan Valley, surrounded by lush lawns, mature trees and the stunning Oakover grapevines. Enjoy Oakover wines, coffee, Oakover beers and seasonal food straight from the kitchen. Offering unique views over the lake and all its bird life, the restaurant here is an industrial-style warehouse designed with a casual but eclectic feel, offering tastings, coffees and food along with plenty of places to lounge around and catch up.

Old Young’s brings tradition together with new techniques and a flair for the unusual (think cold-drip coffee, the pavlova-flavoured vodka and a gin called Old BAG.) These hand-crafted high quality spirits are produced using some of the world’s best raw materials (barley malt, wheat, spring water, grapes and fruit). Hosted tastings are offered seven days a week and you can try the full range of Old Young’s vodkas and gins, both neat or paired with a dash of hand-picked mixer.
